He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Poling and Virginia Poling (Voight); his former wife Gloria; and his siblings, Terry Pervola and David Poling.
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Poling; his son-in-law Brad Evans; his grandchildren, Ari Evans and Dylan Evans; his sister Mary Jane Poling-Williams; and his grandchild Hilliard.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Parish Church (6077 Sharon Woods Blvd, Columbus, OH 43229). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hilliard Ohio Historical Society, 5274 Norwich St., Hilliard, Ohio 43026.
