He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Lucas Jr. and Viola Easterday Lucas; and his siblings, Michael John Lucas, Thomas Eugene Lucas and Cindy Lucas.
He is survived by: his caregiver Gerri Lucas; his children, Robert W. Lucas Jr., Angel Lucas Kappel, April Lucas VanHorn and Terry Lucas; and his siblings, James Lucas, Nancy Fellows, Linda Bender and Jerry Lucas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
