He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Wilson and Julia Wilson (O'Callaghan) of Columbus, Ohio.; his wife Judith "Judy" Mae; his brothers, Tommy and Donny Wilson; and his brother-in-law Bill Purcell.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Wilson (Kelly), Doug Wilson (Caven) and Vicki Lloyd (Bob); his grandchildren, Ashley Tharp (Jason), Shane Tayner, Zakkery and Sammy Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Cash, Cane Tharp and Olivia Tayner.

He was recognized many times for his dedication and contributions to his lodge.
