She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert DeWeese and Aileen Brown; her brothers-in-law, Robert Morrison and Larry Bowling; and her niece Kelly Morrison.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Cassady, Shawn Bernthold and Michael Allen Cassady; her stepdaughters, Patty New (Jimmy), Lisa Farley (Jon) and Pam Rose; her grandchildren, Cameron Ray Cassady, Christina Fee, Corey Bernthold and Frankie Bernthold; her sisters, Alberta Morrison and Linda Pennino (Jim); her stepbrothers, William Larkins, Robert Larkins and Eugene Larkins; and her close friend Lee Keesee. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Glen Rest Memorial (8029 E Main St, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068).
