He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hurley and Dicie Hurley; his son Rodney Bruce Hurley Jr.; and his siblings, Mauzee, James Hurley, Ethel "Sis" Larrison and Mildred Hickman.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Hurley; his children, Stephanie Hurley and Dennis Hurley; and his siblings, Eugene Hurley, Shirley Briggs, Dorothy Hurley and Judy Baker. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
