He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Buchanan and Nora Buchanan (Shelton). He is survived by: his wife Sherry Buchanan (Sokaski); his children, April Buchanan and Scott Buchanan (Kayla); his grandsons, Myles, Owen and Quentin Buchanan; his siblings, Sondra Buchanan, Phil Buchanan and Brenda Bise; and his friend Thomas Kareckas, Sr..
