He was predeceased by: his father Roger MacDowall. He is survived by: his son Richard; his grandson Hayden; his siblings, Scott, Randy, Rita and Joy; his stepsister Dawn; his sister-in-law Tammy; his niece Samantha Persons; his parents-in-law, Jim, Betty Weaver and Wendy Lee; his sisters-in-law, Brandee Rawlins (Jimmy) and Stephanie Booker (Charles); and his nephew Rhett Booker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
When covid hit and they were stuck in the house he started playing and studying his guitar even more.
