He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Young and Lillian Alkire. He is survived by: his sons, Andrew Young (Lauren) and Scott Young (Elsie); his grandchildren, Liam, Riya, Samantha and Lily; his sister Judy Roos (Mark); and his sister-in-law Suzanne Mourton (Gary).
