He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell J. Crist and Betty Jane Crist; his wife Patricia "Patti" Crist; and his brother Jerry L. Crist. He is survived by: his sons, Russell J. Crist (Jill) and Michael A. Crist (Chrissy); his grandchildren, Redmund, Hilleary Crist, Leeann and Hank Haywood; his sister-in-law Beverly Crist; and his pet Zoe II.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association in Ron's memory. Donations in Ronald's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
