He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida May and Lynn Mead; his grandparents, Clark, Mary Smith, John and Stella Mead; and his brother Richard Mead.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Mead (Jacobus); his stepchildren, Ted Chubb (Rachel Ryll) and Melody Sommer (Dustin Sommer); his stepgrandchildren, Avett and Rowen Sommer; his sister-in-law Rosemary Mead; and his nephews, Craig and Chistopher Mead.
