He is survived by: his wife Carol Anne Groom; his sister Roberta Miller; his son Ron Groom; his grandchildren, William Smith, Leah Groom, Skyler Groom and Thomas Groom; and his great grandchildren, Silas, Ryland, Elijah and Eleanor.
