He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Carter and Mary Carter of Columbus, Ohio.; his wife Loraine Carter of McKinney, Texas; his daughters, Marie Peppers-Shipp (Steve), Veronica Peppers (Todd Richardson) and Andrea Houser (Ricky); his grandchildren, Andre, Camesha, Brittany, Joshua, Tionna, Jordan and Skye; his great grandchildren, AJ, Aaliyah, Donte, Trey, Andre Jr., Maliyah, Dominic, Lincoln and Taylor; and his siblings, Larry Carter, Frank Carter, Anita Dawson and James Alexander Carter.
