She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore "Sam" Battaglia and Antoinette Catanzaro Battaglia; and her brother Salvatore "Sam" J. Battaglia. She is survived by: her sister Josephine R. Battaglia of Columbus; her sister-in-law Kathleen Battaglia of Hudson, Ohio; her niece Deborah Peluso (Bryan) of Bexley, Ohio; her nephews, Brian Battaglia (Shannon) of Hudson and Matthew Battaglia (Lindsey) of Park Ridge, Illinois; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack, Abby, Annie and Sammy; and her close friends, Jennifer Giannini and Tony Grkman.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home (300 W 3rd Ave, Derry, PA 15627). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Church (1200 Ligonier St, Latrobe, PA 15650). A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Vincent Cemetery (300 Fraser Purchase Rd, Latrobe, PA 15650).
In Rose's memory and honor, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Holy Family Catholic Church in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
