She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marlowe and Dorothy High (Simmons); and her brothers, Freddy Joe and John Ralph High (Dick Hickernell). She is survived by: her brother David High (Lisa); her children, Jeff Hickernell (Natalie) and Chris Burns (Steve); her grandchildren, Adam Hickernell (Jen), Katie Gartin (Justin) and Cindy Brown (Anson); her great grandchildren, Georgia, Benji, Maia and Emmy; and her sibling's children, Lisa Walker (Terry), Sharon Bishop, Steve High (Brandi) and Matt High (Brittany).
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to Gentiva Hospice in Sandy's memory.
