She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Melvin and Ruby Melvin (Boyer). She is survived by: her son Michael Melvin; her sisters, Mary Duncan (Chuck) and Laura Kelly (Mark); her nephews, Charles, Matthew, Justin, Brian and Shane; her great-nephews, Matthew III, Micah and Finn; her great-niece Rachel; and her close friend Ruth Roper.
