He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Samuel L. Thall and Elaine Rose Thall. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his sister Terry A. Thall; his brother-in-law Jon Seaman; his nephew Grant (Miriam); his great-nieces, Rose and Sarah Seaman; his nephew Bradley Seaman (Jess Buboltz); his brother Dr. Barry Thall; his sister-in-law Sandra Thall; his nieces and nephews, Dr. Tracy Jeck (David Jeck), Coby, Alex, Abby and Ryan Thall (Amy); his great-niece Aria; and his great-nephew Jaden.
