With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Selma Garber (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on November 14, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Garber; her son Phillip Garber; and her parents, Simon Goldberg and Etta Goldberg. She is survived by: her sons, David Garber (Stephanie), Jonathan Garber (Tammy Turner) and Ethan Garber; her grandchildren, Emilia Garber, Chloe Garber, Chris Salling, Aaron Salling, Joel Salling and Shemuel Garber; and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Garber.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Selma's memory may be made to your favorite animal rescue organization in your community.

“Gary and I are sending you our sincere condolences on the passing of aunt Selma. She was a great wife, sister-in-law, aunt and mother. She was very active in her community in Acton, Mass. There she was a member of the sisterhood with her temple. She donated money to many organizations. When I was younger, I remember helping her make cheese bread fingers when she was entertaining guests. I also remember shopping for clothes with her. She was a great hostess and was always accommodating.”
