Seymour Spatt Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Seymour Spatt (Columbus, Ohio), born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughters, Debbie Spatt and Jodi Margolies (Mark); his parents, Jacob Spatt and Gertrude Spatt (Bisgaier); his sister Roselyn; and his wife MaryAnn (Melmed) of Columbus.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon Spatt, Elaine Spatt-Bataller (Paco) and Shelley Spatt; his sons-in-law, Paco and Mark; his grandchildren, Paloma Bataller-Carrington (Tom) of Seattle, Amber Fowler (Philip) of Columbus, Daniel Bataller-Spatt (Sonia) of Barcelona, Devon Henderson and Sami Margolies of Columbus; his great grandchildren, Arnai Spatt of Columbus, Isaac and Aaron Bataller of Barcelona; and his brothers-in-law, Bernie Melmed (Beverly) of Florida and Jack Melmed (Valerie) of California.

In consideration of COVID, everyone visiting will be required to wear a mask at all times; windows will also remain open all the time to ensure proper air circulation.
