She was predeceased by: her mother Emma Slone; her husband Haynes Buchanan "Buck"; her son Michael Christopher (Ashley); and her sister Charlotte Sheward. She is survived by: her children, Brian Buchanan, Sheena Buchanan II (Khaliem), Serena Buchanan and Katie Buchanan (Marvin); and her siblings, Bill Slone (Liz), Robert Slone (Karin), Myra, Dennis Slone, Timmy Slone, Susie Slone, Mike Slone and Zelphia Marcum. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and family.
