She was predeceased by: her father Mose Combs; and her daughter Kelsey Merrill. She is survived by: her husband Jim Merrill; her mother Luverna Townsend (John); her siblings, Gary Combs (Angela) and Gelyne Combs; her niece Alexandra Schoolcraft (Colton); and her nephew Joshua Combs. She is also survived by many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Christ's Church in remembrance of Sheila.
