She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Coleman and Roberta Thomas Coleman; her brother Harold W. Coleman Jr.; and her uncle Oscar Coleman. She is survived by : her son Eric B. Wilson.
Shirley's volunteer contributions to the Columbus community included Westerville Progressive Democrats and Kelton House Museum and Garden's Underground Railroad program.
