Sidney Allen Queen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sidney Allen Queen (Columbus, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnson M. Queen and Pearl Evans Queen; his siblings, Aleese Pertee (George), Thelma Jacqueline Queen and Johnson M. Queen (Mary); and his daughter Amy Jean Queen.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Ellen Queen and Stephen Evans Queen; his grandsons, Michael Evans Queen and Joshua Joseph Allen Queen; and his daughters-in-law, Denise Wright and Valerie Coppola. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Christian Assembly (4099 Karl Rd, Columbus, OH 43224). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (3840 Sunbury Rd, Columbus, OH 43219).
While flowers are welcomed, contributions to the Helping Hands Food Pantry at Christian Assembly would make Sid happy.
