She was predeceased by: her husband Earle L. Smith; her parents, Groa A. Gudmundsdottir and Pall Jonsson; her brother Bjorn Palsson; her daughter Elizabeth Groa; her son-in-law John; and her friends, Kristen and Rosemary.
She is survived by: her children, Earle Paul (Marsha), Eric (Kathy), Betty (late John) and John; her grandchildren, Jack (Jennifer), Laura and Carrie (Mark); her great grandchildren, Renee, David, Wiley, Emma and Kate; her sister-in-law Betty; her nieces and nephews, Thora, Thorunn, Debbie, Donna, Peggy, Sandy, Steph, Bolli, Bjorn Vignir, Agust, Craig and Wayne; and also, Jean, Lilla and Mary.
