Sankey; his children, Danette Sankey-Brown, Robert Sankey (Khadija), Anthony Sankey Sr. (Renee), Kim Sankey-Lawrence (Shayna), Angela Thompson (Scott), Schryl Sankey and Reginald Sankey Sr.; his grandchildren, Mark Anthony Brown, Sunequa Sankey, Candace Jefferson, Preshus Evans, Diamond Sankey, Reggie Rogers (Jaime), Anthony Sankey Jr., Alex Sankey, Don Sunderland, Alexis Howell, Scott Thompson Jr., Racheal Sankey-Walker (Logan), Robin Sankey, Robert Arthur Jr., Trina Cheyenne Cowan and Reginald Sankey Jr.; and his nephew Brent Sankey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
