He is survived by: his siblings, Daisy Bates, Virginia Clark and John Thomas Blakey; his children, Simon Jr., LaMont, Kevin and Simone (Jason); his grandchildren, Mario, Yoshiko, Keveonta, Eric Jr., Simon III, Bianca and Brooke (Danzell); and his great grandchildren, Zoey, Prince, Zaria, Cali and Germani. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended relatives, and dear friends.
