He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Green; his parents, Samuel Green and Jeanne Green; and his sister Gertrude Feld. He is survived by: his daughters, Ellen Green, Jody Greenwald (Gary) and Lisa Green (Ted Moulinier); his grandchildren, Lauren, Roni Lagin, Matthew, Chaya Aronson, Allison, Jason Javer, Stacey, Steve Jones and Michael Greenwald (Laura Spencer); his great grandchildren, Myla, Arlo, Malka, Camden, Jack and James; his sister Karen; and his brother-in-law Roger Ruben.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sol's memory may be made to Trinity Mt. Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Road, Columbus, Ohio 43215.
