She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph L. Fretas; her parents, Tamar Abbou and Yossef Abbou; and her siblings, Rosette Benzekri and Emil Abbou.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Amar (Claude), Martine Knisley (Bruce), Nicole Ebner (Mark), Murielle Rosenberg (Jeff), Patricia Schiff (Michael) and Alain Fretas; her siblings, Armand Abbou (Leah) and Renee Ganon (Michael); her grandchildren, Talie Block (Jason), Dominique Weber (Andres), Julie, Aaron (Bridget), Ethan Knisley, Zachary, Julian, Sabrina Ebner, Brandon Fretas, Simon, Gabriel, Seth Rosenberg, Sophie, Juliette, Stefan and Adrian Schiff; and her great grandchildren, Audrey, Jude and Leo Block. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
