She was predeceased by: her father Rosario Abate; her husband Robert N Appell; her son Robert N. Appell II; and her sister Rose Massie (Phil). She is survived by: her sons, James (Mary) and T. J. Appell; her daughter-in-law Terry Appell; her grandchildren, Amy Green (Fred), Dr. James "Duke" Appell (Carrie), Robert Appell III (Shawnee) and Ryan Appell (Lacey); her great grandchildren, Andrew, Justin, David Green, Victor and Colin Appell; her sister Lucy Cole; and her caregiver Amy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
