Though Stephen James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stephen James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell B. Bennett and Helen M. Bennett (Palmer). He is survived by: his children, Casey Bennett (Stephanie Collart) and Stacy Groves; his grandson Maverick Groves; and his sisters, Terry Terry (Bill Hewitt) and Sally Duncan (Craig Duncan).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Northeast Chapel (3047 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus, OH 43231).
