He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Evelyn; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his son Michael (Peggy); his grandchildren, Brandon and Haley; his sister-in-law Janice McLean; and his nieces, Kathryn Thornborough (Gabe Poling) and Sarah Thornborough (Josh Levinson).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio.
