He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria; his son Robert; his parents, Moses Cain and Esta Cain; and his great grandchild Alton Owens.
He is survived by: his son Michael Cain (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Michelle, Shawn Stevens (Dee) and Christina Stephens; his great grandchildren, Drew Stevens, Rachelle Brumfield, Bryan Stephens and Brandon Stephens; his siblings, Rene, Gladys, Vera and Ronnie; his sister-in-law Carol Pugh (Carl); and his siblings' child Shad Pugh (Emma). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
