She is survived by: her father Charles Michael Hillman of Columbus, Ohio.; her son Gregory Newkirk of Bowling Green; her stepchildren, Cherrielle Newkirk, Maniacha Gonzalez of Phoenix, Arizona and Diamond Newkirk of Macon, Georgia.; her nieces, Emma and Maya Hillman; her sister-in-law Mary Hillman of Montville, Connecticut; her stepniece Stephanie Olson of Groton, Connecticut.; her pets, Zeus and Tyson Newkirk; her former husband Stanley D. Newkirk of Kingsport; and her aunts, Rose Ann Nyanin, Sharlene Purvis and Trina Simcox.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Peace - East (5456 E Livingston Ave, Columbus, OH 43232). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
