He was predeceased by: his parents, James Washington Carter and Dorothy Mae Carter; his sister Tina Carter; and his former wife Teri Bell. He is survived by: his children, Danielle R. Green (Mark) of Buckeye, AZ and Terrell W. Carter II of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, Eloni, Enyia, Eyona, Eleia, Eyleiona, Demonye and Terrell III; his great grandchildren, Antonio and Aomori; his siblings, Marlene Carter of Myrtle Beach, SC and Timothy Carter (Beverly) of Longs, SC; his nephews, LaQuan, Aki, Christopher and Armand; and his niece Katrina.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ohio Cremation & Memorial (5464 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214).
