He was predeceased by: his parents, Asberry Bentley and Lexie Bentley; and his wife Juanita Darlene Bentley. He is also survived by 3 grandsons and a nephew.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the O. R. Woodyard Company Chapel (1346 S High St, Columbus, OH 43207). A burial will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at the Obetz Cemetery (4455 Groveport Rd, Obetz, OH 43207).
