He is survived by: his daughter Skylin Newman; his stepdaughter Rochelle Zimcosky; his siblings, Ann Frantz, Kim Wire and Scott Freedman; his nieces and nephews, Brandon Lilley, Connor Freedman, Sarah Hitt, Noel Frantz and Meggin Ryan; and his close friends, T. J. Fetherolf, Jamie, Katy Stacey and Rev. Brandon Wilcox.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at the 5th Holy Family Church (584 W Broad St, Columbus, OH 43215).
