He was predeceased by: his parents, Ella Louise and Norman Stakely; and his siblings, Pamela J. Rubio (Orris), Michael S. Stakely and Gary J. Stakely.
He is survived by: his nieces, Tonya Zimmerman (Orris), Sarah Turner (Stakely) and Allison Stakely; and his nephew Robert Rubio. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
