He was predeceased by: his son Joshua Weiss; his parents, Edward Bloomfield and Alitha Oiler; and his pets, Rock and Rocky.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bloomfield; his children, Leola Hunter and Jason Bloomfield; and his great grandchild Jaycie. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cook & Son-Pallay Funeral Home (1631 Parsons Ave, Columbus, OH 43207). A memorial service was held on Thursday, August 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
