He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Patterson Jr. and Rebecca "Majors" Patterson; his siblings, Teresa, Ida Dale and Joseph "Jody"; and his brother-in-law Michael Migitz.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Patterson; his children, Damario Jackson, Ian Patterson (Sarah), Iris Patterson and Ida Williams (Aaron); his grandchildren, Mykel Jackson, Lajuan, Ivory Horton, Lauren, Roman Williams, Nia and Liam Patterson; and his siblings, Mary (Ed), Lydia, Myra, Rebecca (Michael), Stephanie (Dave), Bobbie, David (Regina) and Carl (Margaret). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews, as well as many friends.
