He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Banks and Annie Bland Banks; his wife Amanda; and his brothers, John, Clarence and Bobby.
He is survived by: his children, Sabrina and Troy Jr. (Troy Sr.); and his siblings, Thelma Davis, Grace Martin, Annie Maude Banks, Lewis and Bennie Banks. He is also survived by his two children, his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
