He was predeceased by: his mother Flora Lynn Smith; his grandparents, Orville James Smith, Winifred Thomas Smith and Mary Russell; and his daughter Chasmine Ellison.

He is survived by: his father Robert Russell (Sally); his fiancée Jada Ellison; his children, Jasmine, Kani (Bianca), Yasmin, Kuran, Roberta of Brandy, DJ, Khaneem and Nydream; his siblings, Jason, Dana, Daneisha Russell (Ryan) and Heidi; his aunt Fran Hill; his uncle Reese; his cousins, Sean Hill and Tamecca Price; and the mothers of children, Traci, Toiya and Crystal.
