With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Velma J. Obert of Columbus, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Velma left this world on May 19, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Obert; her grandson Devin Murdock; her son-in-law Mark Richardson; and her siblings, Janet Rigelman, Walter Crossman, Harold Crossman, Robert Crossman and Evelyn Mauch.

She is survived by: her daughters, Devonna Parsons (Larry), Diana Richardson, Brenda Lenihan (Paul) and Bonnie Bidlack (Michael). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.
