As Verna departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Verna. Though Verna may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Guy DeVito; her son Guy Devito Jr.; her grandson Guy Devito III; and her siblings, Charlie Voss and Florence McCarty.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Magaw (Steve), Rocky DeVito (Pam) and Michelle Groeniger; and her daughter-in-law Vicky DeVito. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to the Central Ohio Diabetes Association, 1699 W. Mound Street, Columbus, OH, 43223.
