He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Platte and Wilma Platte; his siblings, Rosemary Marcie and Denny Platte; and his daughters, Virginia and Katrien Platte. He is also survived by grandchildren and 17 beautiful great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the John Carroll University Library in Walter's memory.
