He was predeceased by: his mother Thelma Parnell; his wife Cathrine Parnell; his children, LeSonya Parnell (Boo), LoriWright and DaCorey Hurdle; his grandson Saadiq Teague; and his brother Derrick Parnell.

He is survived by: his pet Kobe; his father Willard Parnell Sr.; his children, Shirece "Punkin" Parnell, Danielle "Nelly" Hurdle-Parnell, Diana Malone (Omar), Debbie Kendricks (Ron), Toni Fryar (Ronnie), Michael White, Dion Denson and Steve Wright (Tracey); and his siblings, Freda White (Harold), Douglas Parnell (Lisa) and Carolyn Parnell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made directly to June's family.
