It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Robert Hamilton of Columbus, Ohio, born in Euclid, Ohio, who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hamilton and Margaret Hamilton; and his sisters, Maureen Hamilton and Margaret "Peggy" Murray. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Hamilton; his sons, Michael Hamilton (Emma) and Alec Hamilton (Lauren); his brother-in-law Carey Hamilton (Cathy); his nieces, Megan Hamilton, Morgan Kaliszewski and Lia Murray; his nephew Ian Murray; and his close friend Steely. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
The family kindly asks for no gifts or donations. However, for those who feel compelled to honor Bill's life through a charitable contribution, donations to the Humane Society or a local animal shelter would have brought joy to his heart.
