It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Carr Rogers (Columbus, Ohio), who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac Rogers and Monterro McKinney; his siblings, Charles (Jack), Vando, Charlotte, Monterro, Archie, Isaac, Carl, Andrew, Betty and Jeanne; his wife Margie Jeanne Rogers (Evans); his son Michael Rogers; his daughter-in-law Eileen Rogers; and his grandson Jason Rogers.
He is survived by: his children, Claudia Brown (Dave) and William Rogers (Lisa); his grandchildren, Cory Brown, Alex Brown (Hanna), William Rogers (Clark), Gregory Rogers, Reoma Rogers and Lilian; and his great grandchildren, Elijah Stephens, Jaxon Stephens, Daniel Stephens, Scarlett Cisco, Violet Cisco and Clariam Rogers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Clintonville Chapel (4341 N High St, Columbus, OH 43214). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Eastlawn Cemetery (1340 Woodland Ave, Columbus, OH 43219).
