He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnulf Karl and Marie Esterer (Burt); his former wife Kate Micou Esterer; and his sister Marianna McClennen (Esterer). He is survived by: his son Andrew B. Esterer of St Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Sharon Ashcraft McCarthy, Amanda and Alex Esterer; his great grandchildren, Thomas, Kellen McCarthy and Rowan Dean; his son David C. Esterer (Lisa Anne Esterer) of Dublin, OH; his grandchildren, Tyler Fogal, Madeline and Eleanor Grace Esterer; his son Paul Esterer (Rebecca Hall Esterer) of Bentonville, AR; his grandchildren, Benjamin J., Matthew F., David A. and Sidney C. Esterer; his daughter Katherine Esterer Miller (Richard Miller) of Greensboro, NC; his grandchildren, Susan, David and Peter Miller; his sister Alice Sickels (Esterer) of Santa Cruz, CA; his niece Wendy Sickels (Greg Whitley) of Santa Cruz, CA; his great-niece Kate; his daughter Margaret Nathanson; and his grandson Vincent Meninno.

With the current COVID-19 Pandemic, all State of Ohio rules will apply, those attending must always wear masks and social distancing will be observed.

Contributions may be made in memory of Arnie to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, the Conneaut Arts Center, Community Action Agency, or the Ashtabula Arts Center.
