He was predeceased by: his fathers, Vernice Nelson and Carl Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Patti (Patti) of Conneaut, Ohio; his children, Wendy Howard (Anthony) of White Lake and Chad (Sherry) of Poland, Ohio.; his grandchildren, Noah, Madison, Donovan, Gavin, Levi and Shelby; and his siblings, Richard (Barbara) of Port Washington, WI, Janice Kemp (Lou) of Savannah and Bill (Joyce) of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Parkinson's Disease took Don's body and mind.
