John left this world on May 2, 2026 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Cole and Zula Hansford Cole; and his brothers, Tony Cole and Patrick Cole. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Bearce Cole; his son Shane Cole of Mississippi; his stepchildren, Ted Grubke (Angela) of Denton and Traci Canaday of Concord, NC; his grandchildren, Sarah Cole, Lauren Grubke, Ethan Grubke, Tyler Canaday (Morgan), Joshua Canaday and Garrett Canaday; his great grandchildren, Henley Canaday and Sloane Canaday; his brothers, Mike Cole (Fran) of Chicago, IL, Kenny Cole (Cheryl) of Kentucky and Thomas Cole of North Carolina; and his siblings-in-law, Robert and Patricia Bearce.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Raisian Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services (581 Harbor St, Conneaut, OH 44030). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
