She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bowers and Elsie Bowers (Albee); her husband Harold Summers; her son William Summers; her siblings, Leonard Bowers, Harold Bowers (Red) and Shirley Williams; and her grandparents, Charles, Maisie Bowers, William and Florence Albee.

She is survived by: her son Gregory Summers Jr.; her brothers, Perry Bowers (Merle), Gary Bowers (Stephanie) and Robert Bowers; and her grandchildren, Kendra and Gregory Summers. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
